This xmas was quite a blast!
23rd dec i went to wesley with laine, her mum and frens. pretty cool to sing in the candlelight again this year, but service wasn't as good as the previous years. lotsa AV screwups. and saw my beloved po-po after so long. miss her bitter gourd stir-fried with eggs. yum. took a photo with lainey that nite in the candlelight! *referbelow*
ok den on xmas eve i went over to tasha's place for xmas dinner with the family. it's so good to jus get together with relatives, friends and other loved ones to jus celebrate Jesus's birth (although 25th dec is jus a pagan date, He's really born around march...). when i was at the dinner i really felt the warmth of a closely knitted family. i wish my family can be like that. but everybody seems to be preoccupied with anything but family.
we had a spread man... a sorta-shepherds-pie-but-it-really-aint-one-cos-its-got-breadcrumbs-instead-of-cheese shepherds pie, beef from new zealand, salman baked to perfection, nutritious fruit salad with an optional choice of boiled potato cubes, shell pasta with peas and prawns, turket stuff-it-yourself tarts, honey-baked ham, another honey baked ham, boiled brocoli, and not forgetting the star of the night: TURKEY!
auntie elsie did the carving pretty cool, but i was precoccpied more with the sorta-shepherds-pie-but-it-really-aint-one-cos-its-got-breadcrumbs-instead-of-cheese shepherds pie. haha. i am realli a jia kantang man. hi-starch value.
den we watched tv, hoobastank dvd, and then pushed boxing day forward to xmas eve. WE OPENED OUR PRESSIES! its so cool. auntie elsie bot me my-about-to-finish-liao-le WHITE MUSK! and of cos my darling minnie and tasha got me wat i wld never think i had enough of: T-Shirts! one is purple and one is blue *referbelow*
and ya, min was so cute she was hysterical with every gift opened! she seemed like a happy lil girl. WAHAHA. well she's a lil baby to me forever so it din matter. ya beh, i love you! thanks for your t-shirt.
and of cos my brudder tash was a power winner that nite. two darn watches can u believed it. Irdy got her a sovil titus watch with a purple face summore. darn heng can? lucky queen purple. everything for her was purple. purple wrappings, purple gifts, purple watever. it was so purple i wished i can smash her purple oso. HAHA. nah i wun! i love u too tash! thanks for being a purple comrade!

and as for xmas itself, i went to fcbc's concert-service at fort canning. it was relli fun and i enjoyed myself worshipping there. i can feel God's presence totally man! and the people were really fun! den after service (1130pm liao) we went for makan at PS. i had mashed potatoes and teh tarik from 7-eleven HAHA. den vince, emily, her bro and myself got bored and went for movies. KUNG FU HUSTLE. darn funny show. and yes debbie i promised to watch with u so i'd watch it again aight? *winks* den after much luffter at the 345am movie (bah. yes say "wa so free ah"), we walked along orchard road and ended up at the nearby xbox place to tok. emily's bro and vince ended up playing xbox there. and me and emily had a really long tok. it was really nice toking abt the faith with a fellow sister. it boosts my morale so much to learn of people's opinion.
you discover while people are so different, there's actually a connection between all of us via God Almighty.
and now, having bathed and blogged, i am about to sleep. HAHA. yea. good nit.. i meant morning!
