saturday was so fun!
okay if you people din know wat happened, it was our beloved natasha's bday party.
synopsis
hui min and me decided to plan for a surprise party for our girl one day before her bday together with auntie elsie(tasha's mum). so in order to make the thing more impactful, everybody was supposed to act like they forgot abt her bday and din care abt it. we told alot of people abt the party and asked them to come (sadly many couldn't make it, if they did, it could have been a bigger ting, but ah.. but still alot came).
then the funny part, throughout the few weeks before the big day, tash was like telling auntie elsie why come minnie alll like so not enthu. on her bday, min told her she gg temple with daddy, cynthia told her she's gg malaysia, irddy never ask her go out, i was so quiet abt everything like i forgot all abt her bday and best of all, auntie elsie told her she had to cancel the champagne brunch as...
no.1 she was broke
no.2 no khaki to drink with, save up so she can ask me and minnie along to pei tash
no.3 er... not a reason to cancel la, but jus say she'd order a bday cake at home.
LOL.
den, to make things worse, auntie elsie said she was NOT cookin on that day and they were to order PIZZA HUT and KFC delivery to eat.
HAHA. she was so disappointed my goodness u shld have seen how depressed she gotten.
The Plan
on the day of the party, minnie ask tash to go out and stuff. and in order to get her back in time for the party, minnie made the excuse that she wanted to go home to watch singapore fashion festival on TV (cos she took part in it as the usher and model dresser). so when they were out, i went over to set up the stuff with auntie, irddy and cynthia. den the rest streamed in in time.
The Moment
TASHA'S FACE WAS LIKE "WTH". HAHAHA! imagine gg home t expect nobody but ur mummy, grandma and probable a box of KFC, but instead see a group of ten near twenty people standing in there, popping party poppers and shouting happy birthday to u. that moment rocked my sox. totally. literally. HAHA. my dear fren was so surprised she said she trembled. haha dun we jus all love her. auntie elsie ordered the food from Siam Kitchen and it rocked. especially the soft shell crabs with chilli mayo. heaven.
during the party, which i know is her best since years ago, so many ppl she missed came. her primary sch frens, family benefactor(one heck of a tall dude) and long-time-no-see church frens. and best of all, babe and me were in there to share it with her.
haha yes i know this blog post is one a few days late, but hey i wished u happy bday and had a part in the making of the party man.
