pan pac rox~ lol.
okay ytdy was a day of miracles, which made pan pac a really great place, and my God a really great God!
on sunday, one day before work, i was so engrossed with church performance that i din do any preparation for work the next day. apparently the next morning i awoke panicking quite abit. but me being me, i din give much thought about my missing hygiene cert, passport sized photos and my bank account book (which was in my bro's drawer and i din bother to check there. diao.)
it was a relli bad start for the first workday, and on my way to work i prayed and asked for understanding people to handle my 'checking-in' of the workforce.
den i met rong ki at pan pacific and he rox! haha. basically a funny guy that 'anything-goes'~ so one problem down. the whole orientation thingy was really great? like we are just trainees and stuff? but they got us a meeting room with chairs that costs like 1k plus to sit on, freeflow of coffee or tea throughout and like give us breaks that have finger food served. really great. i feel like a VIP or something there. and they gave really assuring thoughts as they value education above many things. so they take us SERIOUSLY. totally. like they even hired this woman from a education background to train people in pan pacific.
den remember i forgot a couple of things? hygiene cert apparently we have to ALL take the test anyway so i din need much of that. my mother found my account book for me and lastly, the photos.
here's miracle number two.
me and tash weree supposed to meet nixon at esplanade's library for some research on the upcoming culinary competition. den nix was late as he took the wrong bus and after that we had to meet min cos i miss her jus too much~
den by the time i was on my way home it was like 9:30pm. ALL photoshops should be closed so i was praying to God for something to happen. BUT on the bus, i saw this open photoshop and got off one stop later and ran to the shop. guess wad?
THEY WERE STILL OPEN BUT THEIR POLAROID WAS SPOILT. i was like WA LAO. den i asked them if any shop arnd was still open and they said no. thinkin that they usually dun help competitors out being singaporeans, i still went to look for the shop. it WAS REALLY closed. time? 9:20. more reason for shops to be closed.
den i sadly took the bus towards home and prayed for a miracle. i was contemplating on giving up and going home straight. but something in me prompted me to walk the distance to riverval mall instead of gg home. so i walked. DEN I SAW THE PHOTOSHOP'S LIGHT ON FROM A DISTANCE!
i was like THANK YOU DADDY GOD, but den, i soon realised that the lights was only the display lights. the shop was really closed. u can imagine how crushed i was. i din wanna not bring my stuff to work tmr, like i wanna show myself to be responsible for wat i said. i promised to pass them the photos on tues, and i HAD to take my photos on that day for that to happen~ i was totally crushed. utterly.
when i was on the verge of giving up, guess wad? the other shop along the stretch was still OPEN! and THE POLAROID IS WORKING! HAHA! i was like SO HAPPY!
so indeed, God answers prayers if u take the first step to believe in Him, which was my step to get off the bus to walk the distance to the mall instead of gg home. oh ya, the time when i took the photo? 9:40~ HAHA. IT SHOULD BE CLOSED U KNOW? the ENTIRE mall closes at 10pm. and having worked that area before the shops always close before 9:30 and the photoshops close abefore 9pm.
HAHA. so he answered two prayers on that day. hHe gave me perfect employers and gave me my photos~ WOOT. he tests u thru situations that grant disappointment, like my case of spoilt polaroid in an open shop. den he lifts u up totally when you are about to give up by the wierdest of miracles! it was truly an inspiring day and He proved to me once again, my faith in Him was the best decision i ever made in my life, and more importantly,
