macau and hongkong was damn fun.
although macau had nothing much but gambling, their way of life surprises me. a roman catholic can enter a taoist temple and pray to their god, and taoists can come into churches and pray to God.
it's a mess.
the tour guide said:"if this god can't do it, the other can." and that's their philosophy.
but anyway, the structures there are really nice and pretty. the tour guide was a really enthusiastic and nice guy too. it was also the first time entering a casino for myself cos even though i went to genting before, i wasn't interested in entering the casinos. the casino was an eye opener. now i believe that loan sharks and hookers and other vices come with casinos. u see tempers flaring when the people are losing and pimps approaching everyone that walks by.
i hope singapore would stay as 'clean' as it is now when the IR starts.
hk on the other hand is really nice. i love the street with its authentic wan ton stalls and 'chou dou fu' push carts. the neon bill boards and endless shoopping time. can u imagine 11pm and shops are still open? and 2 am in the morning the street still filled with beautiful people? haha i love hong kong. the girls are just so pretty.
hehe.
caught a movie in hk called "SPL". actors include samuel(the fat hongkie thats darn good with kung fu? jackie chan's fellow disciple if i rmb), donny yan and ren da hua the man. the fight scenes are really good even though its really gory and bloody. a show worth the money paying!
anyway movie in hk is really expensive! 60 hk dollars for a show. equivalent to 15 sing dollars! can u imagine? no wonder piracy is rampant there.
and toking about piracy, there are hardly any decent dvd shops arnd. the shops tt sell dvds and vcds have porn VIRTUALLY ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE! u turn to ur left its porn, right also porn. in front porn. back oso porn. surrounded by porn.
and they got the most innovative porn titles: WOMB RAIDER.
