despite so many haters and anti-xiaxue ppl, i find xiaxue extremely attractive.
ok before you go *vomit*, listen to my explanation on why i find her so amazing and alluring.
fine, she is vulgar for a girl but isn't that a a perception of the society? does it mean that guys can swear and girls are supposed to be demure and all? even while saying so, i must say that i dun advocate swearing (it dussen speak well of yourself, whether male or female).
but the thing about xiaxue, or rather Wendy Cheng is that she is a fighter. (no la she dun fist fight and all) as in she has her own perspective of life, and she holds on to her own principles dearly, even if it means that that will result in disagreements and violent objections from the public. the world is so evil.
look, most of us are guilty of this: conformity.
say u like teddy bears. society says teddy bears are sissy. hence, because of that, u start to force urself to hate teddy bears and like something more socially acceptable. dun deny it. u like fat men/women?

anyways, xiaxue is the kind that says "HECK I DUN CARE IF U THINK TEDDIES ARE SISSY! I LOVE TEDDIES!"
how many people, or rather, how many GIRLS in particular are like that? most girls (no offense ah, i said MOST) just go soft and give in when people object against their ideals. saying so, not many people have this kind of courage, to continue thinkin the way you do even when you know that people dun like ur thought patterns (wah chim even for myself).
xiaxue is strong, but still, there is the girl in her. so strong, so stubborn, yet we can still identify the pink in her. okay not that we dun noe that her favourite colour is pink, but rather we can see her fears and concerns when people fire her with hate mails and negative comments. no she does not shrug it off and say they dun bother her. HEY CUMMON LAH IF ITS U U OSO SURE TO BE BOTHERED RIGHT?
examples like when her email and blog got hacked; hate mails when she said she dun think that the disabled toilets are only for the handicapped; and the "KL not nice one" blog post. while people shoot her with negativity, she dun act power and say "aiya go and die la, you dun bother me at all".
she is one of the "real-est" person i ever known. she tells her readers how angry, how sad and how fearful she is. she tells us honestly of how proud she is of her blog's success. instead of cheering her on for her honesty, people jeer and say she 'hao lian'. come on la, she is just a girl who shit, eat sleep and pee like you. jus that she is different from u in the sense that she has her own opinions (and dun change it because u say u dun like it) and is more honest about her own feelings means she not human la.
she is also homo-sapien like you and me.
and i admire her alot.
thats why i would love you peeps to vote for her for the best Asian Blogger award!
