Today had been a long day. Super tired.
Went to Bras Basah to meet Jeff and Tash b'cos Jeff was bored and Tash needed to restring her guitar.They no longer help people string guitars now! Lucky got Jeff to help us string. Then I saw the Epiphone Goth Thunderbird IV that I liked ever since I loved bass. It was the one that i always wanted, but cannot find in Singapore. There was even a period of time that I wanted to import it from the USA! It's absolutely sexy with matt finish, charcoal coloured body, neck and headstock. The bridge is raised and theres a XII inlay on the fingerboard. SEXY LIKE SHIT. After admiring the bass, and restringing the guitar, we left for Soundmix Studios by cab. Then came the dulan parts. THE MAP I GOT FROM YELLOWPAGES WAS INACCURATE. We got off the cab and could not find the studio! Then I think we walked the whole of Jalan Besar, and I ran street to street with my bass bag and thick jacket on. I think I NAPFA no problem liao. Can go in army do my SOC in full SBO no problem. HAHA.
Anyway, after ONE BLOODY HOUR then we found our way there. so ONE HOUR left of jamming. We rushed like mad. I am pleased to say that at least we found a new homeground to jam in. But today still not very satisfied with our overal performance. I think is because Fagan can't hear everybody and I couldn't hear myself; our timing was pretty screwed.
Must get used to the room and jam there more often!
So after the jamming, we actually had recording done. Hence, ladies and gentlemen! Democracy For Listeners actually have 3 original tracks done (though not to optimal standard, but can la...), and in listenable mp3 format! When we are done with more songs, and the standards are better, we can start distributing liao, so must support us okay?
