The secondary buncha' creeps.

Just now went Compass Point to meet little Shiya. Then had dinner and cuppucino in the library. Read Rolling Stones and Motor Trends magazines.
THEN, guess what?
Instead of walking (or taking bus) home) I moved away from home when I came to a crossroad. Then walk walk walk, discovered that I am near my secondary school. So I walked towards it. A wave of nostalgia swept over me (wah i feel so chim-ster now), and I decided to deviate even further away from home. I walked the circumference of the school, before heading home.
The short walk around the school's circumference reminded me of my 'happening' childhood, or rather, teenagehood. Caring nothing about the hot sun or pouring rain; indulging in endless soccer and basketball sessions; pulling out the shirt from our pants when we are out of the school's compound; the ringing recess bell; school assembly periods with the various lame performances; being reprimanded by teachers and HODs alike for not tucking in our shirts; and going home at about 7pm when school ended about 5 hours before.
It was a long time since I took a slow stroll around the neighbourhood, taking in the fresh air and the beauty of the light blue sky. Sometimes, we get so caught up with life, we forget the beauty of the simple things around us. Even when we have the time, we choose to indulge in meaningless things like television, internet or computer games.
I wonder when would be the next time I stroll around the neighbourhood again.
And more so, I wonder how different would the surroundings be in the next stroll.
